When designing the kitchen, I was really adamant on having somewhere to keep my cookbooks, as I love cooking. I didn’t want any wall units (except for the larder), and so using this little alcove seemed like the perfect option.

We’re planning on adding an oak shelf between the worktop and small beam, which will store some glass jars of flour & pasta etc. I also need to order some nice accessories to hang from my little peg hooks from @gardentradingcompany – It’s never ending, isn’t it!
